Price & Thread is an informational service: we research clothing prices and publish what the evidence supports. We don't sell anything ourselves. Using the site means you accept these terms.
What this service is
Price & Thread (the “Site”), operated by PRICE & THREAD LLC (“we,” “us”), aggregates and analyzes publicly listed clothing prices, labels each discount by how much independent evidence supports it, and links you to the retailers that actually sell the products. We are not a store, we hold no inventory, we process no payments, and every purchase you make happens on a retailer's site under that retailer's own terms, prices, and policies.
Prices and availability belong to retailers
Every price, former-price claim, discount, and stock level shown here was observed at a point in time — each card shows when. Retailers change prices and inventory continuously and without notice, so what you see on the Site can differ from what you find at checkout. The price at the retailer controls. Always confirm the price, availability, shipping, and return terms on the retailer's site before buying.
No warranty of accuracy
We work hard to be right — our methodology exists precisely because most “was” prices don't deserve your trust — but the Site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Verification labels (“corroborated,” “retailer claims…”) are our good-faith, evidence-based editorial assessments at a moment in time, not guarantees.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission when you buy after clicking. This never changes what we say about a deal: identical verification math and identical labels apply to stores that pay us and stores that don't. Intellectual property
Brand names, product names, logos, and product imagery belong to their respective owners; they appear here to identify the products and stores being discussed, and their appearance implies no endorsement of Price & Thread by any brand or retailer. Our own editorial content, verification methodology, and site design are the property of PRICE & THREAD LLC. You may quote or cite our published figures with attribution and a link.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the Site: no attempts to disrupt it, no misrepresenting our labels or figures as something they aren't, and no scraping at volumes that degrade the service for others. (If you want our data for something legitimate — research, journalism — just ask.)
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRICE & THREAD LLC and its members, managers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, or data, arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on any information on it — including purchases made at retailers we link to. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Third-party sites
Retailer and network sites we link to are independent of us. We are not responsible for their content, prices, policies, or conduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, where PRICE & THREAD LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service evolves; the effective date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
